I almost didn't come that night.
I was tired. My house was a mess. I hadn't read the passage we were supposed to discuss. I had nothing profound to offer. I almost texted "can't make it" and stayed home with my couch and my excuses.
But I went. And something happened that I didn't expect: I was seen. Not because I had it together — I clearly didn't — but because I showed up.
There is a gift in presence that cannot be replicated by a perfectly crafted message or a highlight-reel version of yourself. When you walk through the door — tired, unprepared, a little undone — you give everyone else in the room permission to be the same.
Community doesn't need your polish. It needs your presence.
Hebrews 10:25 tells us not to give up meeting together. Not "meet together when you're ready." Not "come when you have something to contribute." Just — don't stop showing up.
Your presence is the contribution. You, as you are, right now — that is enough.
